WORKSHOPS

THE SERIOUS ART OF PLAY

I’m an Associate Speech and Drama teacher with experience working as an educator of young people and adults. I have a vast set of skills and many interests, which means I can offer personalised workshops on a number of topics!

I’m most passionate about sharing the joy of performance art with the next generation to keep play alive in children! I also love using my Event Management education and skills gained from being a freelancer to teach young artists about career pathways and how to be a sole trader.

With experience and a keen understanding of NCEA Drama and Drama Scholarship, I’m able to offer secondary school students workshops to boost creativity and support their NCEA learning – Commedia Dell’arte, Devising, Improvisation, Mask, and Melodrama are just some of the disciplines I can teach.

You’re welcome to request workshops all year round. I have experience teaching large and small groups of all ages, working with people with disabilities, and sharing the joy of performance arts to groups with zero acting experience!

Flick me an email to get a conversation started! Read my full bio for more details about the professional development I could offer you, your students, or colleagues.
